Stepping Stone Heritage Farm is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada.  Our central location makes our farm a favorite holiday stay.  It is very easy to make day trips to a wide variety of recreational activities and places.

 

Stepping Stone Heritage Farm is dedicated to all the concepts involved in organic farming and to the preservation of heritage breeds of livestock.  We are a small, mixed farm employing the rather old-fashioned approaches to agriculture in common practice about 60 - 80 years ago prior to the large scale intrusion of science.  People do the majority of the work and thinking, and technology assists us.

 

Stepping Stone Heritage Farm actively seeks to educate people who are gradually becoming further and further removed from their food origins.  We feel this is one very important way for people to recognize that the value of the farmer must not be diminished.  If we allow the farmer to disappear, we do so at our own peril, because then we are relying on government,

big business,

and science,

                                    to feed us.
